It has a soft seal to prevent ingress of water, debris and other foreign matter into the pipe during storage, handling and transportation.
The soft seal also acts as an extra safety feature to prevent the protector from falling off.
A locking mechanism that secures the protector to the pipe with a lot less turns than regular protectors.

The stealthy design reduces the chances for the item getting caught on other protectors or structures, providing smoother and safer handling.
